1958-2024

We are saddened by the loss of our friend and colleague, John, who passed away August 31, 2024.

Armed with a BS from Lehigh University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a persistent smile, John first came to Kaufman & Company from Morgan Stanley in 1989.  After a few years John’s curiosity and never-ending thirst for new challenges got the better of him, and he joined one of our healthcare clients in an operating role launching a successful career spanning several decades in the life sciences and medical technology sectors.   We were fortunate enough to have him rejoin us as a Senior Advisor in 2017 and share his talents, energy, and connections to the early-stage venture community.  He collaborated with us, he challenged us, and he forever expanded our horizons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in his honor.
